Season 5 will also star a new high-profile actor, discover who it is in the next paragraph!

New high-profile actor

To stand up to Cillian Murphy is another high-profile actor who is about to land in Season 5 of Peaky Blinders: Sam Claflin. The latter will play Oswald Mosley, a far-right politician who will quickly become head of the British Union of Fascists. The politics of the country will therefore be at the heart of the intrigues of the next episodes and the Shelby will face emerging nationalism and populism among different social classes. With a position of power there will be big enemies who are waiting for Tommy, something to renew effectively for the series. Gone are the days of small gang wars, Tommy is in the big leagues.

Now, if you are a true fan and especially if living in the UK, you for sure need to read what’s coming on the next page: the official Peaky Blinders festival in Birmingham!

The festival will try to immerse visitors in this atmosphere by offering an exhibition on the accessories of the series and an immersive experience in the world of Peaky Blinders. A show choreographed by Benoit Swan Pouffer and played by Pascal Rambert will also be scheduled, as well as a fashion show and poetry battles, a way to stage or music poetic texts.

Steven Knight, very invested in this festival, will be present on site for an interview with fans of the series. Tickets will be available for sale from August 9 on the festival website. It is likely that the date chosen for this event is also the date of the release of season 5. No doubt that fans will enjoy the festival especially those who are eager to see the new season land.

Unfortunately at this stage, the official release date of Season 5 is yet to be announced and we all can’t wait to know about it!
