Taylor Swift’s new music video is here — and Twitter cannot, despite her wishes, calm down.

As we reported, the singer enlisted a slew of celebs

Viewers were shattered by the video — not only because of the stars it featured, but because it contained the most unapologetically gay visuals in the history of music videodom.

Yes, the YNTCD vid is undoubtedly a celebration of love and inclusivity and wigs of all colors. Per usual, every frame was worth dissecting — and that’s just what social media users did in the hours following its release.

But first, let’s take a look at some of the more general positive reactions…

Many applauded the 29-year-old songstress for releasing a video that served as a love letter to the LGBTQ community:

While this song may be a Reputation-style “don’t come for me and my crew” anthem, Tay previously teased that the rest of her upcoming album is “very romantic.” She explained last week:

“This album, in tone, it’s very romantic… Not just simply thematically, like it’s all love songs or something. The idea of something being romantic, it doesn’t have to be a happy song. You can find romance in loneliness or sadness or going through things in your life… it just looks at those things through a romantic gaze.”

One thing’s for sure: the internet is in love with this music video!

If you haven’t had the pleasure of watching it yet, take a gander (below) — and keep an eye out for Taylor’s seventh studio album, expected to drop on August 23.
